Description
Summary:The experiments were performed in a double dielectric barrier discharge in He at atmospheric pressure, in glow mode of operation and presence of the secondary discharge. The study was focused on the effect of the barrier material on the characteristics of pulsed DBD. Using emission spectroscopy and tunable diode laser absorption spectrometry, complementary information on the excited species present in the discharge have been obtained. It results that the secondary discharge preserves the main characteristics of the primary one and their amplitude is dependent on the barrier material.
