Summary: | PURPOSE: Evaluate 2004 through 2008 statistics and analyses for USAF Class A MQ-1 Predator mishaps. Compare causal human factors for the MQ-1 with those identified for manned aircraft METHODS: FY 2004-2008 data were obtained from the USAF Safety Center database for Class A manned and unmanned aerial vehicle mishaps. These mishaps were reviewed for human factors as determined by the Safety Investigation Board. The human factors nrecent were analyzed for commonality and statistical trends. |
