Summary: | The dispersion relations for both bulk and surface magnetostatic waves are obtained in a case where the applied field makes an arbitrary angle with the interfaces of the structure and the static magnetization is tipped out of the interfaces. With the transfer matrix treatment, we find infinite sets of bulk mode bands and infinite branches of surface modes. Both the bulk modes and the surface modes are sensitive to the direction of the static magnetization. Many new properties of the magnetostatic modes are thus presented. |
