Benzthiazoles in estuarine sediments as indicators of street runoff
Investigations confirm that two compounds, benzthiazole and 2-(4-morpholinyl)-benthiazole, occur in street runoff and that they can result from the weathering of a commercially used anti-oxidant in rubber manufacture. The research is discussed.
