Activation of Muscarinic Potassium Currents by ATPgammaS in Atrial Cells
A study of the intracellular perfusion of atrial myocytes with adenosine 5'-(gamma-thio) triphosphate (ATPgammaS) discovered that cytosolic application of ATPgammaS can also lead to G-protein activation, thus implying that experiments with ATPgammaS must be interpreted with caution. References.
