Design of the Fulton Road Bridge Precast Segmental Concrete Arches

This paper describes the design of the Fulton Road Bridge segmental concrete arches. The posttensioning concept, superstructure–arch interaction considerations, effective length k factor for moment magnification, and construction sequence analysis methods used for design are discussed.
