Interpreting undrained instability of mixed soils by equivalent intergranular state parameter
In this note a laboratory study of the effects of fines content and state (density and confining stress) on the undrained instability of mixed soils is first presented; then the data are interpreted within a framework based on the equivalent intergranular void ratio and the state concept.
