Description
Summary:We predict that under certain experimental conditions external radiation with frequency half of that for the alternating Josephson effect can appear when a constant voltage is applied to a quasicrystal-quasicrystal tunnelling junction 1 . The background for this possibility is the phase coherence of the wavefunctions across the barrier and the absence of scattering on the dynamical degrees of freedom (phonons).
