Summary: | Abstract
This paper will provide a brief overview of some current efforts in in-cylinder velocity measurements for internal combustion engines. This is a very active field and has been for over 30 years. New technologies enable measurements not possible years ago; yet some challenges in acquiring and interpreting experimental velocity results remain. This paper will try to outline some recent results and in particular will give a little more detail for three example measurements. |
