Summary: | The WaterTime project was carried out by five research groups, in Finland, Germany, Hungary, Spain, and the UK, and covered a wide range of disciplines: water management, economics, political science, ecology, and environmental law. Moreover, it could be applied to the infrastructure for drainage and irrigation, since also in that case history matters a lot: development and depletion of water supplies; water rights and price policy; investments in land leveling, irrigation systems, and drainage systems; and awareness of off-site effects arising from quantity and quality of drainage waters. |
