Summary: | Fire performance quantification of room finishes and furnishings may be made in terms of energy release rate developed in a room volume during a fire. Energy release rate may be determined by the oxygen consumption method. Uncertainties of the oxygen consumption method and measurement instru ments were combined into a resultant uncertainty of the system. Experiments were conducted in the room compartment lined with noncombustible walls. |
