Description
Summary:We study the quantum conversion from light to ultracold triatomic molecules by using a quantized photoassociation light. Our results show that molecular matter-wave squeezing can be obtained for both homo- and hetero-nuclear trimers and are also compared with the previously studied case of creating dimers. This provides a possible method for quantum control of ultracold complex objects.
