Description
Summary:Group efficacy has emerged as an important and significant predictor of group effectiveness. However, most conceptual work on group efficacy fails to capture its complexity. This article extends extant theory and develops a more in-depth model of how group efficacy develops and operates within existing groups, including complex moderating factors. The paper concludes with a discussion of implications and future research concerning motivation in collaborative efforts.
