Summary: | European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH), an initiative originating with the European Science Foundation, is an attempt to grade journals in the humanities including history and philosophy of science. However, this initiative is entirely defective in conception and execution. The ERIH depends on a fundamental misunderstanding of conduct and publication of research. Among other things, several journals' titles that have been removed from ERIH are presented. |
