Changes in Korean Family Structure and the Conflicts of Ideology and Practice in Early Socialization
Working mothers and the issues of socialized childcare constitute one of the most dynamic fields in which the contradictions of contemporary Korea can be seen. The dominant ideologies still dictate that mothers stay in the home, but in reality, the majority of mothers work outside the home.
