Description
Summary:In this paper we present current results which illustrate various aspects of the patterns of energy use in nondomestic buildings derived from the statistical analysis of data obtained from energy surveying activities. The reason for producing such results is explained. The means of organising results in a meaningful manner is introduced. Standard methods of statistical analysis are described by using results from the current sample of office premises as an example. Comparisons of energy-use patterns are presented for eleven prominent activity categories within the United Kingdom non-domestic building stock.
