Summary:Book Review Digest, Book Review Index, and Current Book Review Citations were compared for their coverage of titles appearing on the best-seller lists of Publishers Weekly. Book Review Index contained many more citations than Current Book Review Citations. More than 90 percent of the citations in the latter publication were also in the former, but a number of citations were unique to Current Book Review Citations. The indexes complement each other despite very great duplication of coverage. Book Review Digest was predictably slower, listed fewer titles, and contained fewer citations. However, it did contain some citations that were not found in Current Book Review Citations.
