Description
Summary:Logic is concerned with arguments, & though R. Crusoe may have constructed derivations, he could not engage in argument until Friday joined him. The communicative context essential to argumentation is often neglected by various philosophical traditions. A system of dialogue designed to explain the fallaciousness of question-begging arguments is presented. It is argued that all logical questions should be considered within a system of dialogue, & that many logical problems that resist solution in nondialogical approaches can be resolved in a dislogic approach. 16 References.
