Description
Summary:Considers the notion that a new anti-Semitism is emerging, identifying its characteristics in terms of origins, targets, and tactics. A distinction is made between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. What is seen is while the character of this anti-Semitism is indeed new, it still draws on the same old and primitive motifs, and, ultimately, the image of the Jew remains essentially unchanged. Attention is then given to the question of whether the rise of this phenomenon can be attributed to post-2000 events in the Middle East.
