Summary:We recognize that the feminist philosophy we publish does not speak for all women. We do hope, however, to provide a venue for those voices that are not being represented, and we believe that a necessary step to hearing those voices -- and to including the experience of as many women as is possible in our deliberations, arguments and analyses -- is to provide an occasion for dialogue and exchange. Toward this end, Hypatia sends complimentary subscriptions to over twenty libraries, philosophy departments, and women's research centers in Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Africa that cannot afford a subscription to Hypatia.
