Fascist Groups in Italian Universities: An Organization at the Service of the Totalitarian State

La Rovere discusses the history of the Gruppi universitari fascisti (GUF), the fascist groups within the universities in Italy in the 1930s. Three seperate phase can be identified within the GUF: the "movement phase," the phase of its institutionalism and the totalitarian phase.
