Summary: | It is suggested that the "everyday" forms a substratum within each discipline, & is capable of challenging the currently established division of knowledge. An interdisciplinary study is attempted, seeking to: (1) define a concept of the everyday that is sociologically relevant & that has ethical implications; (2) define the ethical universe from the perspective of the everyday; & (3) situate the phenomenon of religion within the framework of (1) & (2). Theories of the everyday are compared with various aspects of philosophical & theological ethics. Modified HA. |
