Description
Summary:The prevalence of everyday legal problems for Mc elderly residents in an Ur US neighborhood is explored, utilizing structured interview data from 434 Rs. A classification of 846 "trouble cases" into 6 areas & 31 categories reveals neighborhood area problems to be most frequent, with neighborhood parking being the single most widely reported problem, followed by "no-fit neighbor" & noise problems. Problems with crime are relatively infrequent. An increase in legal services relevant to neighborhood problems of the elderly appears appropriate, to bring such services into parity with those provided for other types of problems. 3 Tables, 10 References.
