Summary:In this work, the authors analyze the evolution of municipal services from a gender perspective & the political agenda from two viewpoints: labor market & gender violence. They also include from the same perspective, the citizens' response to the municipal social welfare initiatives. They state the fact that the policies of equality in the municipal arena are a reflection of what is carried out in the European & international context, which translates into an important improvement for women.
