Description
Summary:Inpatient admission data from the Center for Mental Health Services are utilized to project such admissions to specialty mental health organizations for US white, nonwhite, & black persons in 5-year intervals, 1990-2010. It is reasonable to expect significant increases in the number of such admissions to all specialty mental health organizations, except state & county mental health hospitals, during the next 20 years. Among the different specialty mental health organizations, nonfederal general hospitals are expected to have the largest increases, & state & county mental hospitals, the smallest. 4 Tables, 16 References.
