Summary: | Most articles in this special issue describe and analyse African futures or African futures studies. This article has another purpose. Besides providing a partial bibliography of the field, it outlines approaches through which information relevant to African futures studies can be identified and acquired. Regardless of whether that information is in the form of official reports, academic books, journal articles, facts, statistics or news about Africa, the strategy is basically the same: instead of looking for individual items, one looks for bibliographies, handbooks, computerized catalogues, CD-ROM indexes, on-line databases and other information resources that provide effective and efficient access to the desired materials. |
