Description
Summary:This article measures attitudes towards lesbians & gay men as well as tolerance for portrayals of homosexuality in the media in Singapore. It looks at sociodemographic factors that influence attitudes toward homosexuality, as well as the relationship between traditional Asian values, religiosity & tolerance. The results of the survey, which were largely representative of the Singaporean population, showed that most respondents are not tolerant of homosexual behavior or homosexuality portrayed in the media. Marital status was also a significant predictor of anti homosexual attitudes. Tables, Figures, References. C. Adcock
