Description
Summary:Wanless shares his view on the note of Brown et al on the aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), which is one of the technologies being evaluated to support the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan-a project that is vital to the interests of the Everglades ecosystem, the residents of Florida, and the nation. He mentions that beyond the Everglades restoration project, it is critical that a coordinated regional ground water research and management plan be put in place in South Florida and other regions that are initiating a major assault on remaining ground water and reservoirs.
