Statin and aspirin therapy are associated with decreased rates of choroidal neovascularization among patients with age-related macular degeneration

The study by Wilson and associates (Am J Ophthalmol 2004;137:615-624) showed a decreased rate of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) taking aspirin and statins.
