Summary: | Self‐assembly of rod‐coil molecules with an ester linkage gave a honeycomblike supramolecular structure with 3D hexagonal symmetry. Hydrolysis of the ester linkages and removal of the coil segments (light blue) from the perforated lamellar structure afforded crystalline sheets (dark blue) with in‐plane arrays of nanopores whose hydrophobic interiors entrap nonpolar molecules. |
