Summary: | Rituals. A formal presentation on "facing fear" was held at the leadership group's 2007 retreat in Taipei. It included consideration of the Bible passage, "perfect love takes away fear" (12). Participants were then invited to reflect silently on their own fears and how these might be transformed, by love, into hope. A prayer was offered to Buddha/God/Allah/Adonai for love to replace fear, and a simple ritual followed. |
