Summary: | Hypoglycaemia is a common problem in paediatric emergency admissions. It has not received enough attention in Nigeria. It has been shown to complicate many childhood illnesses. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of hypoglycaemia in paediatric emergency admissions, describe clinical factors that commonly predispose to it and investigate its effect on outcome of management.
