Glaciology: ice-sheet plumbing in Antarctica

Underneath four kilometers of ice in Antarctica, it could be challenging for scientists to know exactly what is going on. However, remote imaging has enabled the discovery of the long-distance discharge of water from one subglacial lake to another.
