Use of a Therabite appliance in the management of bilateral mandibular coronoid hyperplasia

Abstract Persistent restriction of mouth opening after coronoidectomy to treat bilateral coronoid hyperplasia, may be the result of soft tissue fibrosis. We present the use of a mouth-opening appliance that helps to overcome this problem and improves long-term results.
