Summary: | Generally in keratoconus the corneal apex displacement is inferior in position and bilateral in expression. Two young male keratoconic subjects enrolled in the Dundee University Scottish Keratoconus Study (DUSKS) demonstrated with corneal topography the presence of unilateral superior keratoconus. Successful visual rehabilitation of a superior cone with contact lens fitting represents a particular challenge to the contact lens practitioner. This report discusses the management of two such cases. |
