Description
Summary:Recently solved structures and proposed models have helped to reveal the structural characteristics of the β-propeller fold, as well as the features that contribute to its high rigidity and stability. Possible strategies for identifying β-propeller proteins in newly characterised sequences are helping to overcome the problems of predicting the β-propeller fold from amino acid sequences.
