Abdominal Pain as the Presenting Symptom of Autonomic Dysfunction in a Child

The first pediatric case of autonomic dysfunction associated with "functional" gastrointestinal disease and testing that reproduced an episode is described. The approach used may lead to more frequent trials of medications directed at normalizing autonomic nervous system function.
