Tuberculous tenosynovitis and carpal tunnel syndrome as a presentation of HIV disease
We describe a patient who presented with carpal tunnel sydrorne secondary to tuberculous tenosynovitis and who was subsequently shown to have HIV infection. Recognition of this atypical presentation of tuberculosis is important for early, effective treatment.
