Description
Summary:Nutrition has often been described as the link between agriculture and health. The Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior maintained its unique focus of the previous decades on disseminating research, evaluation, and best practices in nutrition education for this entire continuum of concerns--ranging from issues related to the sustainability of food systems, food and nutrition policy, food insecurity, determinants of food choice and dietary practices, nutrition education with various publics and through a variety of venues, to health behavior change interventions for chronic disease prevention. Contento describes the food, nutrition, and policy context of the Journal during this decade and then highlights some of the Journal's contributions to the advancement of the field of nutrition education.
