Summary: | Familial pulmonary hypoplasia is a rare cause of bilateral pulmonary hypoplasia. We describe the plain film appearances and correlate these with the histopathological findings in an infant who survived 5 weeks. In this case, improved technology prolonged survival, allowing the radiological appearance of the primitive lung architecture to become more clearly defined. |
