As a result, there has been a corresponding increase in topical antiaging formulations, which are commonly referred to as cosmeceuticals. These products come with a seemingly limitless number of key active ingredients and claims of reducing the signs of aging and/or maintaining a youthful appearance. This paper reviews the more common cosmeceutical ingredients.
