Description
Summary:After removal of central venous and umbilical catheters from a premature infant, the patient went into sudden peripheral vascular collapse with hematuria and hypertension. The hematuria appeared to be associated with a right renal vein thrombosis secondary to the venous catheter, and the acute nephropathy was suggested by ultrasound. This was confirmed with Tc-99m DMSA and Tc-99m MAG3 imaging.
