Summary:ZuBeCa1 was localized by FISH to chromosome 10q22-q24 according to the partial canine standard karyotype. Mendelian inheritance: Codominant inheritance was observed in five Beagle families with 7, 7, 3, 13 and 9 offspring, respectively, displaying alleles of 278, 280, 282, 284 and 290 bp. The last allele was not observed in the 97 unrelated dogs.
