Postoperative pathological examination gave a diagnosis of the pulmonary type of ovarian small cell carcinoma. Six courses of paclitaxel and carboplatin therapy were given as adjuvant chemotherapy. The patient has survived for 36 months without recurrence. Here we present an extremely rare patient with the pulmonary type of ovarian small cell carcinoma.
