Summary: | Multiple studies have reported high and increasing adolescent exposure to and use of legal and illegal drugs in the UK and further afield. Although research suggests that early interventions may provide some protective effect, the effectiveness of interventions based on deterrence, or the provision of information, has been challenged. Explores an alternative method of engaging young people in a drug education effort using an arcade-style computer game based on an operant learning task. (Original abstract - amended) |
