Summary:ABSTRACT —Changes in the behavior of the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) in rat ventricular myocytes were investigated under conditions of metabolic inhibition using laser-scanning confocal microscopy to measure intracellular Ca and the perforated patch-clamp technique to measure SR Ca content.
