Clinical and echocardiographic features of hypereosinophilic syndromes
Idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome results in characteristic cardiac abnormalities and increased morbidity in 50% of patients. Other causes of prolonged eosinophilia can demonstrate similar findings in a smaller proportion of patients.
