Vertebral osteopenia due to bone marrow hyperplasia during interferon-α and ribavirin therapy for chronic hepatitis C

We report the magnetic resonance imaging of a severe, but fully reversible, vertebral osteopenia, due to bone marrow hyperplasia, occurring in a patient with chronic hepatitis C treated with the interferon-α/ribavirin combination.
