Fatty acid composition of abdominal adipose tissue
Kahn and Valdez comment on a recent article by Garaulet et al, in which they report that adipose tissue from the perivisceral depot has a relatively high saturated fatty acid content and a relatively low monounsaturated fatty acid content compared with fat from other abdominal depots.
