Recall of 9.11 in Alzheimer's disease: further evidence for intact flashbulb memory

Thompson et al investigated the impact of the terrorist attacks on Sept 11 on the memory of Alzheimer's disease patients. They found that memory of the event was preserved, but peripheral details were lost.
